Eligible refurbished systems and components are supplied with a 12-month SmartComm return-to-base hardware warranty, beginning on the delivery date and covering verified hardware defects arising under normal, intended use.
What the warranty covers
- Diagnosis of reported hardware faults
- Repair or replacement at SmartComm's discretion
- Equivalent tested replacement components
- Technical coordination during a valid claim
What is excluded
The warranty does not cover accidental or cosmetic damage, misuse, improper installation, unsuitable power or environmental conditions, unauthorized modification or repair, consumables, software, data loss, compatibility outside the agreed configuration, or faults caused by third-party equipment.
Exchange and alternative policy
If a validated fault cannot be repaired within a reasonable period, SmartComm will seek to exchange the affected item. Because refurbished inventory changes, an exact match may not be available; in that case, we will propose an equivalent or better compatible alternative, subject to customer agreement and availability.
